Evina is Associate Professor and Course Director of the Water Engineering MSc at Brunel University. Evina leads the Water & Environmental Engineering group with 16 postdoc and PhD students. Authored 90 publications, 12 book chapters with over 100 presentations, invited talks and patent on biopolymers recovery. She leads 11 national and international projects focusing on Circular Economy in the Water Sector. Evina’s research focuses on: (1) pilot and demo solutions for sustainable resource recovery from wastewater and safe reuse; (2) Data analytics, knowledge discovery and process modelling; and (3) Circularity Modelling and Assessment. She has authored 85 publications and patent on biopolymers recovery. Evina has over a decade of researching and guiding research agenda into the development of the framework and transitional models to capture circularity flows, and the socio-economic transformation of industry from linear to circular. Her major effort is to bridge the gap between resource recovery technologies and measuring their impact on current and future circular supply chains. She is developing methods for lateral integration of technical, economic, social, environmental, policy and risk factors in circular economy streams.
